Ball valves are particularly suitable for rough vacuum. Under certain conditions they can also be used in medium
vacuum.
VACOM offers two- and three-way ball valves of brass or stainless steel. Two-way ball valves possess an in
the flow direction axially bored ball, which by turning 90 ° opens or closes the flow passage.
Actuation is realised by a
handle that also serves as position indicator. Pneumatic or electric actuators are available as an option. Three-way
ball valves have three ports and the ball has either an L-bore or a T-bore. Depending on the position, several
connections can be combined.
